Christine (she/her) holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She identifies as a Latina, 2nd generation, cis-hetero, female. Christine has experience working in outpatient, day treatment, school based, in-home, and correctional settings. Christine is committed to providing therapy from an anti-oppressive, culturally informed, and gender affirming lens with healing centered engagement. She works individually with children (6+), adolescents, and adults. Christine works with individuals from all identities, but her areas of passion include providing a safe therapeutic space for BIPOC/Global Majority, LGBTQIA+, and neurodiverse populations.
She is a systemic therapist with an integrative approach which includes psychodynamic, CBT, narrative, mindfulness, somatic, motivational interviewing, & experiential play topped with a sarcastic twist. Her clinical interests include complex trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, SPMI, identity, and neurodiversity. Christine is trained in Level 1 Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, Emotion Focused Individual Therapy (EFiT), SCERTS (Social Communication Emotion Regulation Transactional Support) Model, Motivational Interviewing, Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART) Foundations, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Additionally, Christine has completed the 20-hour Foundational training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga.
